RAFLOST Opening Performance
The annual electronic arts festival RAFLOST will kick off May 19 at 9pm with an event in Reykjavik Art Museum, Hafnarhúsið in collaboration with the Reykjavik Arts Festival. The special guest of this year’s Raflost is pioneering video artist Steina Vasulka. She will be presenting her piece “Violin Power”. Also on the program is The Arduino Band that will create music using Arduino micro controllers and the group Hestbak will perform pieces by members of the experimental composers collective S.L.Á.T.U.R.
